Our Mission: Support to prevent mistakes and plagiarism

The plagiarism prevention project "Refairence" supports all groups of persons at an university to insure academic integrity and good professional practice. As a priority, the project aims to prevent mistakes, plagiarism and other misconduct. Therefore, the project activities and the materials offered are foremost educational, preventive und proactive. Additionally, the project generates research results and presents recommendations for the establishment of workflows and the usage of plagiarism detection software.

The project has been completed, but we continue to work on the topic in other projects and add newly developed materials.
